Side Plank Reach Under

Execution

  1. Position yourself on the floor, lie on right side of body with right forearm in contact with the floor and left leg extended over right leg
  2. Right elbow, at a 90 degree angle, should be directly under the right shoulder as you elevate hips to a side plank
  3. While holding a side plank, extend left arm up towards ceiling with arm slightly behind left shoulder
  4. While keeping your eyes on your left hand, begin to lower the left hand reaching under your chest.
  5. Strive to touch your right side with left hand  while balancing and holding for a two count
  6. Slowly return to starting position
  7. Repeat on opposite side
